My Holy Grail Makeup Products

Everyone has their bag of holy grail makeup products. Mine has changed over the few years I’ve known about makeup, and I’ve definitely grown more mature in my taste in makeup. If you ever aren’t sure about what kind of makeup you should use on the daily, keep reading to get some ideas!

Product 1: Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Smokey Eye Mascara

This product has been something a use everyday for a WHILE now. It NEVER clumps, it NEVER smudges, and it isn’t a pure black, it’s more of a dark brown, which I prefer for a more natural look. It is a little pricey, just because it’s from Bobbi Brown, but honestly I haven’t found any dupes for it so I would say it was worth the price. ($30 on Sephora.com)

Product 2: MAC Snowball Collection Face Bag Set

This set is honestly a great purchase in my opinion. I don’t really use the brush that the highlighter came with, but I use the highlighter almost every single day. The bag is really cute, too! The highlighter is one of those products that if you layer it, you can get a more intense color payoff. I can go really natural or really glam with it, which is pretty great! And the highlighter is a gorgeous color and in a snowflake pattern! ($49.50 on Dillards.com)

Product 3: FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Yacht Lyfe

I just recently bought this product and I am IN LOVE. The color is GORGEOUS, with beautiful peachy pink tones. The color honestly reminds me of a sunset, it’s that pretty! This was the first product from FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna that I’ve purchased, and I am definitely going to look at some of their other products after such a successful purchase. I use this as a blush and a highlight, and if I’m in a rush (on school mornings I normally am…), I can just swipe it on my lids for a shimmery eye shadow look! ($25 on Sephora.com)

Product 4: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer

I use this product EVERY MORNING before I go to school, because, and I’m pretty sure this isn’t just me, I feel like I look dead in the mornings. And this bronzer is made with some real chocolate in it, so it smells like hot chocolate! I love it so so so much, and it will probably be part of my daily makeup routine for many years to come. ($30 on Sephora.com)

Product 5: Smith’s Rosebud Salve

Now I’m not normally one to follow suit and buy cult favorites, but this is definitely one of the best products I have in my makeup bag. It isn’t really a lippy, but more of a chap stick. I use it before a go to bed and when I wake up, because it keeps my lips from getting chapped, especially during the winter time. It adds a shine like a lip gloss would, and it’s super easy to apply. It smells like a bouquet of roses and it’s AMAZING. ($6 on Sephora.com)
